Our expert cider guide will welcome you with a with a glass of our crafted sparkling crisp and fresh Essex Gold Rush.
In our Orchard you’ll find out about our trees, the types of apples we grow, and how we founded The Big Bear Cider Mill.
Next onto the Cider Barn to discover how our apples make their journey into our handcrafted cider; we explain how our apples are pressed, the juice fermented into cider and finally how it’s packaged into the final products.
You will finish with a guided tasting of all our crafted Essex Gold Ciders in our Tap Room.
There will be opportunities to ask our knowledgeable team questions throughout your experience, and an opportunity to purchase gifts.
The tour and tasting will last approximately 1-1.5 hours. The Tap Room will remain open for your enjoyment following the tour and on certain dates a food pop-up will be joining us.
Gift vouchers are available to purchase now redeemable against any date in 2023. Pre-Booking will be required. Dates to be announced in January 2023.

Tours & Tastings are suitable for over 18’s only, proof of age may be required.
Our tours include time outside in our Orchard so please ensure you have appropriate footwear, warm/wet weather clothes and sunscreen.
