Cider has been made in the UK for over 1,000 years.  The Romans brought apples here, but it wasn’t until the Norman Conquest that cider was made in large quantities.

Monks made cider, and drank a fair amount of it as it was probably safer to drink cider rather than the water.

Lots of things have changed in the last 1,000 years, but true cider made from 100% apples remains the same.  A refreshing drink that appeals across the board..
